We carry within us the wonders we seek without us. There is all Africa and her prodigies in us – Sir Thomas Browne
I have a BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages (English and Italian) and a Masters degree in Writing for Children. Prior to my Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy with the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, I trained with Joan Swallow in Transpersonal Psychology, with Duncan McColl in Precision Therapy, with the Atkinson-Ball College of Hypnotherapy and Hypnohealing, and with Paul McKenna and Michael Breen in Neuro Linguistic Programming.
I have a lively and varied educational background, chiefly in languages, art, transpersonal psychology and writing for children. I have taught adults in adult educational programmes, and children of primary school age. I draw on my love of mythology, language and literature, art, dream and symbolism to encourage people to reconnect with their inner wisdom and universal values, to shake off the constraints of fear and guilt and to find the source of happiness and power where it always was and still is: within themselves. My work has always been to help adults and children to find creative solutions to problems and gain the confidence to fulfil their potential.
